THE SCRIPTURE INSPIRED

The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17)

THE ONE TRUE GODHEAD

The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities: The father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. The second member of the Godhead, our Lord Jesus Christ, who is God manifest in the flesh, was born of a virgin. (John 1:14, Luke 1:26-38)

MAN, HIS FALL, AND REDEMPTION

Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression, fell, and now his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21)

THE SALVATION OF MAN

Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind. (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10; Psalm 103:1-3)

BAPTISM IN WATER

The ordinance of baptism should be observed as commanded in the scriptures, identifying a true believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4)

THE LORD'S SUPPER

Each believer should partake of the bread, signifying the Lord’s body, and the cup, signifying the Lord’s blood for the new covenant, doing this in remembrance of His work at the cross of Calvary. (I Corinthians 11:24-28)

THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

All believers are entitled to the promise of the Father, the baptism with the Holy Spirit. The initial evidence of receiving this free gift is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. With the Spirit comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Acts 1:4-8; I Corinthians 12:1-31)

TOTAL PROSPERITY

  • Spiritual: John 3:3, 11; II Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10
  • Mental: II Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3
  • Physical: Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24
  • Financial: III John 2; Mal. 3:10-11, Luke 6:38; II Cor. 9:6-10; Deut. 28:1-4
  • Social: Proverbs 3:4

BLESSED HOPE

Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to Heaven. (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17) All those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from God. (Revelation 19:20, 20:10-15) Jesus will return again to reign on Earth for one thousand years. (II Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:16, 20:1-7)

DIVINE HEALING

Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by laying on of hands. It is provided for in the redemption of Christ, and it is the privilege of every member of the church today (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-20; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5)

HELL AND ETERNAL RETRIBUTION

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or for repentance. The lake of fire is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; Hebrews 6:1-2).

STATEMENT ON MARRIAGE & SEXUALITY

Due to a supreme court ruling concerning gay marriage, we have chosen to include our beliefs on Marriage and Sexuality below to protect the integrity of the ministry as well as protect the ministry from any potential legal issues.

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.

We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, or any attempt to change one’s sex, or disagreement with one’s biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God.

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of the church as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the church members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the church in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, and those those who are ordained as ministers through this ministry, should abide by and agree to this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality and conduct themselves accordingly.
